Valentine’s Day
Scott and I were able to have a nice Valentine’s dinner without JJ. A friend of mine watched him, Thanks Jessica! I had planned on going to our favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse, but once we found out the wait was 1 hour 45 minutes I started thinking of other ideas. So we headed to the next closest restaurant, Culvers. Not exactly a romantic spot but it was nice to eat hot food without holding or worrying about the baby.
Jack and I were away last weekend to my mom’s in Lockport, Illinois. Grandma and Grandpa had a great time with the baby. The trip up JJ was fussy and by the time we reached Uncle Billy’s and Aunt Michelle’s we had a smelly diaper change. It was great visiting with everyone. My mom also had a “meet JJ” event and almost everyone bought the child clothes. It was really great because the clothes were all different sizes so this kid is really set and I won’t have to be doing laundry everyday 
The trip back was perfect, he slept until I got off the highway in Lafayette (about 2 1/2 hours) we both took a bathroom break, he had his bottle and we were back on the road in 30 minutes. He then slept all the way to our house.
I am still hoping to get the baby cam up and running soon. Scott has been swamped at work with their big move. Hopefully he will have some relief soon and we will get that camera up and running. Jack is changing so fast and we don’t want anyone to miss it.
